Taiji Lake Tourist Area is located in the Wudang Mountain Special Tourism Economic Zone in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. It is close to the world cultural heritage, national scenic spots, national 5A tourist attractions, and Wudang Mountain, a Taoist holy land. It is an important part of Danjiang Reservoir, the water source of the middle route of the South to North Water Transfer Project. With a planned area of 32 square kilometers, it is a unique lake, island, mountain, forest, weather The Inner Lake Scenic Area, which integrates natural landscapes such as biology and profound Wudang Zhenwu culture, Hanjiang culture and Danjiang reservoir area culture, is suitable for sightseeing, leisure, vacation, health preservation, cultural training and other tourism activities. In 2014, it won the honorary title of "National Youth Civilization". In 2015, it successfully created a national 3A level tourist attraction. In 2016, it became the core water tour section of Wudang Taiji Lake National Tourist Resort (the only one in Hubei Province).
