Shennong Chicken Blood Jade, produced only in Shennongjia, Hubei Province, China, is a precious red jade, which is called "Zhenshan Gem" by local people. As the only mid latitude natural oasis in the world, Shennongjia Forest Area has 1.6 billion years of history. It is rich in mineral resources and is a place of ancient jade deposits. After exploration by geological experts, Shennong Jixue Jade Mine was formed in the Mesoproterozoic geological period, about 10-13 billion years ago. Its formation age is far older than Hotan Jade and Jade, and it is the oldest jade in China. Shennong Jixue Jade is distributed on the cliff of Shennong Summit in the form of chicken nest mine. Because it is hidden under the primeval forest, the mountain is high and the forest is dense, so ordinary people can't climb it. Because of the precipitous terrain, it is impossible to operate mechanically, so it can only be excavated manually and then carried down the mountain with a back basket. The whole process is the original mining method. It is understood that mining can only be carried out from June to August in 12 months of the year, and the rest of the time is closed.

Turquoise - Oriental Holy Jade

6800 years ago, Banpo people in the Neolithic Age used it as decorations; 5500 years ago, Egyptian kings and queens often wore it: the priceless Heshi Bi was made of it. It is turquoise, one of the four famous jades in China. The top grade jade was obtained from Shiyan. Turquoise, also known as turquoise, was called Dianzi in ancient times. It is an opaque gem with wax like luster and hardness between 4.5-6 degrees. Sky blue and lake blue are the best, followed by blue-green or emerald green. The output of turquoise in Shiyan City, Hubei Province is large and the quality is excellent, especially the reserves of sky blue, watered blue yellow brown and dark green turquoise are rich, and the mining history is long. The Yunyang District, Yunxi District, and Zhushan District of Shiyan City are the best quality, enjoying a good reputation at home and abroad. Zhushan County is the "hometown of oriental turquoise". 70% of the world's turquoise is produced in China, 70% of China's turquoise is produced in Shiyan, and 70% of Shiyan's turquoise is produced in Zhushan. It is said that the multicolored (yellow, white, red, black, green) stones used in "Nuwa mends the sky" correspond to the rich mineral resources of Zhushan County, such as gold (copper), silver, iron, stone coal, turquoise, and more than 10 ancient books and records, such as Historical Records, Five Emperors' History, Kangxi Dictionary, confirm that Zhushan County is a holy place for Nuwa to refine stones and mend the sky.
