Shiyan Railway Station is located in the famous city of Shiyan. Xiangfan Chongqing Railway runs through here, and the planned Shiyi Railway and Yunshi Railway meet here. Shiyan Station, under the jurisdiction of Shiyan Train Depot of Wuhan Railway Bureau, is now a first-class station.

Shiyan Railway Station was built in 1968 and has been expanded several times. The new station building of Shiyan Railway Station was put into use in January 2003. The building area of the new station building is 1800 square meters, and the total area of the waiting hall is 2600 square meters. In 2008, in order to cooperate with the access of Wukang Second Line, Shiyan Railway Station carried out station yard reconstruction. The new Shiyan Railway Station was provided with 7 arrival departure tracks, 2 through storage tracks and 1 dedicated line for Dongfeng Motor Corporation. Two platforms are set at the station, and three platforms are reserved.
