Origin of Longtan River

The reason why it is called "Longtan River" here is that it is a magic story with folk origins. It is said that the Old Dragon King of the West Sea, who is in charge of the rain gear of the Heavenly Realm, and Tan Banxian, a very accurate fortune teller who lives together in Yangwei Town, gambled that the Old Dragon King of the West Sea, in order to win, had secretly tampered with the Jade Emperor's will to rain on the earth and violated the rules of heaven. In order to escape the punishment of the Jade Emperor, under the cover of Tan Banxian, the old Dragon King and his family hid in the Longtan River and escaped the pursuit of the heavenly troops and generals. In order to thank Tan Banxian for his help, the Old Dragon King is here to show his magic, spread rain and dew, and benefit the people, so that the weather is good and the grain is abundant. In order to thank the old Dragon King, the local people also built a Dragon King Temple on the hillside to worship incense for years. The old Dragon King was so happy to be worshipped by people that he slightly modified his place of escape to form today's "Longtan River" landscape.

The Longtan River Tourist Attraction is composed of four major areas: "Ancient Residence Folk Custom Experience Area", "Waterfall Exploration and Sightseeing Area", "Fairy Way Worship and Health Preservation Area", and "Longyuan Tracking and Source Exploration Area"; There are more than 80 scenic spots such as Gongye Ancient Residence, Cailun Paper Making, Jinyun Looping, Longtan Xieyue, Qunxian Temple, Longwang Temple, Yuhuang Hall, Longquan...
