Yunxi County
Yunxi is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, adjacent to the Qinling Mountains in the north and the Han River in the south. It is adjacent to Shangnan, Shanyang, Zhen'an, Xunyang and Baihe counties of Shaanxi Province and Yunyang District of the province. Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway passes through the area. The 209 National Highway runs through the north and south. The Wuxi High speed Railway is about to set up a station. It is an important post station of the "Qiaotou Fort", the ancient water transport and the ancient tea and horse road, and an important channel of the ancient Silk Road from central China and northwest to the east. The county covers an area of 3509 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 18 townships (towns and districts), 286 village (neighborhood) committees, and a total population of 510000. Yunxi is a national key county for poverty alleviation and development in the new stage, a national health county and a national garden county, as well as the upstream core area of water source protection for the Middle Route Project of South to North Water Transfer.
Yunxi has a long human history. The discovery of the ancient human sites of Anjia Bailong Cave and Xiangkou Huanglong Cave proves that human beings have lived and multiplied here for a long time. The history of Yunxi started from Dayu, the State of Shang was granted by the title, the territory of Xi was under the jurisdiction of Qin Dynasty, Changli was established in Han Dynasty, Yun Township was changed in Jin Dynasty, and Yunxi County was established in the 12th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty. The "Shangjin Ancient City" in the territory has a history of more than 4000 years. Shangjin Ancient Town has been established 23 times as a county, 7 times as a county, and 4 times as a state. It is known as "the ferry of the Emperor and Shangjin as an ancient fortress". In 2007, it was rated as "a famous historical and cultural town in China". Yunxi is an old revolutionary base area, where Li Xiannian, He Long, Xu Qianqian and other martyrs fought hard. It was liberated in 1947 and was the earliest county in Hubei.
Yunxi has unique natural resources. It is known as the hometown of Chinese magpies, the hometown of tung trees, and the hometown of Tianhe Qixi culture. It is the origin of Chinese horse headed goats, the national spice tobacco base, and one of the four eucommia ulmoides bases in China. With abundant hydropower resources, 630000 kilowatts can be developed. 27 hydropower stations have been built, including Doulingzi, Sunjiatan and Yuhuangtan. The construction of Jiaheguan Hydropower Station and Gushan Hydropower Station is accelerating. With abundant solar energy resources and theoretical reserves of more than 480000 kilowatts, it is the area with the best utilization conditions in Hubei. Shangjin and Tumen 30 megawatt centralized ground photovoltaic power stations and 384 village level photovoltaic poverty alleviation power stations have been built. Laijiahe 100 megawatt photovoltaic poverty alleviation power stations in Hejia Town and Maoping 30 megawatt centralized photovoltaic poverty alleviation power stations in Tumen Town are accelerating their construction, and the total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation reaches 266 megawatts. Wind energy resources are abundant, which can be developed for more than 400000 kilowatts. At present, water energy, solar energy, wind energy and other resources are being transformed into a new driving force for county development, and Yunxi is striding forward towards the goal of a large clean energy county of one million kilowatts.
Yunxi industry has accelerated its rise. The featured agriculture has developed steadily. The planting area of tea, walnuts, Chinese medicinal materials, etc. is nearly 300000 mu. "Matou Goat", "Mountain Grape", "Jingyangtong", "Eucommia ulmoides", etc. have been certified as products of national geographical indications. The projects such as the plant factory for medicine and food homology have been promoted in an orderly manner. Industrial economy has improved quality and efficiency. The industrial park covers an area of 2200 mu, and the Hejia Poverty Alleviation Industrial Park covering an area of 1500 mu is under construction. There are 31 large-scale enterprises and 8 school enterprise research and development centers above the municipal level in the county. The output value of leading industries such as clean energy, auto parts, and agricultural product processing accounts for 43% of the output value above the scale. The tertiary industry is becoming more and more prosperous. Four AAAA scenic spots, Tianhe, Wulong River, Longtan River and Shangjin Ancient Town, have been built, and many Tianhe Qixi Cultural Tourism Festivals have been successfully held. "Yunxi Qixi" has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage representative project list, and has been rated as "Hubei Tourism Strong County" by the provincial government. Xiaying Village in Jianchi Township has become the "First Taobao Village in Hubei". Yunxi has successfully established a financial credit county in the province, and has been selected as a national comprehensive demonstration pilot county for e-commerce in rural areas.
The total planned and designed investment in Yunxi of the ten west high-speed railway is 8.679.6 billion yuan, with a transit line of 57.941 kilometers, passing through 5 towns and 18 villages including Hejia Town, Chengguan Town, Tumen Town, Xiangkou Township and Shangjin Town. Yunxi Station is located at the junction of Huangshiliang Village and Jilanghe Village, Chengguan Town, 2.5km to the north east of the county town. The platform scale is 2 sets and 4 lines. Now we are striving for the departure station, and after the success, the platform scale will be increased by 1 set and 2 lines. The original design area of the station building is 5000 square meters. Through the above efforts and with the approval of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China Railway Group and the Owner, it is agreed to design and build the station building as 10000 square meters, and has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Owner to increase the station building area. At the same time, a comprehensive maintenance work area is set in Huangshiliang Village, east of Yunxi Station.
