Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Wudang Sanfeng Sect and the master of internal kungfu

The ancient and modern cultivators of truth, morality, mind, morality and practice have hidden into Wudang Mountain. The people who are really famous in Wudang have been Wudang Taoist, the founder of Wudang Sect and Sanfeng Sect of Taoism for nearly a thousand years.
Zhang Sanfeng, full of names, has a mysterious character. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, he was a famous Taoist who was familiar with the scriptures of the three religions and talked with people about taking morality, benevolence, righteousness, loyalty and filial piety as the basis. He was known as the "Hidden Immortal".
In his early years, Zhang Sanfeng once promoted Maocai to the Shiyuan Court, and was seen to be reborn from the dead in the Jintai Temple in Baoji, where Yang Shen traveled. After entering the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Sanfeng claimed to be "the old man of Dayuan", and his whereabouts were uncertain. In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Zhiheli Taoism in Fujun Prefecture (today's Danjiangkou City) practiced in Wudang Mountain with the Quanzhen method, and was once the abbot of the Five Dragon Palace. The mind and the divine power have foresight. He once prophesied that Wudang Mountain "will prosper in the future."
More than 20 years later, Zhu Di, the Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, overhauled the palace in Wudang Mountain and hoped to discuss with Zhang Sanfeng the way of longevity. This is why Wudang Mountain is called the "royal family temple". Wudang Taoism was also in its heyday during this period.

Zhang Sanfeng had 6 disciples in Wudang Mountain, including Qiu Xuanqing. During the reign of Yongle, he selected Taoists from all sects to enrich Wudang Temple, and all of them regarded him as their founder, so he had a great influence. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the martial arts circle often called him the founder of Wudang Neijiaquan and Taijiquan.
In the study of Taoism, Zhang Sanfeng inherited the idea of the integration of Quanzhen Taoism and the three religions, and put forward the theory that Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism should be integrated into one. He believed that the three religions should be based on the same philosophy, but each had its own emphasis. Confucianism was based on "practicing Taoism to help others", Buddhism was based on "understanding the world", and Taoism was based on "hiding Taoism to help others". However, the three religions pursued the same goal, which was the "Tao" of "being exhaustive and even fateful".
Today, the temple of Wudang Mountain still worships the statue of the founder Zhang Sanfeng. The people in Shiyan City and other surrounding areas also have their influence in daily life. As he said, "If people can correct their body and mind, they will gather their true essence and spirit, and great talents and virtues will come out of it."
Such a national consensus on the righteousness of spiritual cultivation is the cultural treasure spread by Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Taoism, and also an important part of Chinese traditional culture, which will be verified and practiced again in the future inheritance process.
