Han Diao Erhuang
Han Diao Erhuang, also known as "Mountain Erhuang", is a local opera in Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, with a history of more than 250 years. It was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects in 2008.
It is popular in Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, across Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Gansu provinces. Its aria is mainly Xipi and Erhuang, in addition, it also absorbs other vocals and local folk music, and sings in dialect. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, the immigrants from Huangzhou Prefecture migrated to the northwest of Hubei Province. They combined the tunes of Chu with the dialect and folk music of the northwest of Hubei Province, and gradually formed the "Mountain Erhuang", which was eclectic, unique and colorful.
Zhuxi "Mountain Erhuang" is honored as the "Mother of Han Opera" by the famous Han Opera master Chen Bohua. As the only professional troupe that can perform Zhuxi Mountain Erhuang in China, Zhuxi Mountain Erhuang Troupe is also known as "the best troupe in the world".
The voice of "Shan Erhuang" is close to the local voice, the lines are close to the local language, the plot is close to life, the actors are close to the people, the performance is not restricted to one style, the program is flexible, and the means are rich and diverse. It can play both traditional and modern plays; It can play not only the whole drama, but also the life drama; It not only has the style of a big drama, but also has the characteristics of a local drama. Both refined and popular tastes appeal to both women and children. The Shanerhuang Opera Troupe of Zhuxi County has performed more than 100 kinds of plays, of which more than 30 are often performed. Among them, the Qingfeng Pavilion and The Story of the Wall are the most influential, and they are popular in both urban and rural areas.
"Mountain Erhuang" is the historical product of the brilliant Jingchu culture and the profound Yongba culture exchange, collision and integration, and is the cultural treasure of the splendid 5000 year Han civilization. It is also a cultural treasure jointly created, accumulated and developed by the people of Zhuxi in the long life and production process. It reflects the feelings, ideals and aspirations of the people of Zhuxi, reflects the spirit, character and values of the people of Zhuxi, and is the lifeblood of inheriting the fine tradition of Zhuxi.
