The Legend of Yin Jifu
The legend of Yin Jifu, one of the national intangible cultural heritages, is a folk literature spread in Fangxian County, Shiyan. The content includes more than 30 folk stories related to Yin Jifu, such as The Legend of Yin Jifu's Family Temple and The Legend of Tianguan Tomb.
Yin Jifu, also known as Jifu (auspicious father), also known as Grand Master Zhou, was born in Fangling. He lived in the house and was buried in the house. He is not only the style collector and compiler of the Book of Songs, the first poetry collection in China, but also the first politician, strategist and writer in Hubei history.
During the Western Zhou Dynasty in 828 years ago, when King Xuan of Zhou ascended the throne, he selected and appointed talented people and appointed Yin Jifu as the Grand Master. Yin Jifu was both civil and military, and had the ability to govern the country and secure the state. King Xuan ordered his ministers to write poems to recite - "Literature and military are good, and the world is the constitution", which led to the historical record of "King Xuan's rise".
The history of the ancient houses and tombs has provided a considerable historical content for the Chinese civilization that has been passed down to this day. There are a large number of cultural relics of Yin Jifu on this land. His deeds in assisting the king industry in the Western Zhou Dynasty are a model of "loyalty" respected by the later feudal dynasties. The activities of building tombs, temples and temples for Yin Jifu have continued throughout the dynasties. It not only commemorates his deeds of eating the town and collecting poems, but also sets an example of "loyalty" for future generations.
The Legend of Yin Jifu mainly focuses on the culture of "loyalty and filial piety", carries forward Yin Jifu's spirit of loyalty and filial piety, and educates and enlightens future generations. Moreover, the Legend of Yin Jifu is not only spread in all towns of Fang County, but also in Guanshan Town of Danjiangkou City, Yanchihe Township and other neighboring places, among which many successors are descendants of the Yin family.
In recent years, Fang County has effectively publicized and disseminated various versions of the Legend of Yin Jifu, confirmed the protection content, strengthened the protection of representative inheritors with significant influence, strengthened the training of city and county inheritors, and focused on forming a sense of learning among young people. It once again conducted a general survey and propaganda of the oral culture of the Legend of Yin Jifu, through collection, recording, classification, cataloguing, etc, A complete set of archives has been established to comprehensively and systematically protect and promote the Legend of Yin Jifu.
