Yin Jifu, a statesman of the Zhou Dynasty and a major compiler of the Book of Songs

If there is a hometown in the Book of Songs, it must be the place where Yin Jifu, its compiler, first picked up the wind - Fangxian (Ancient House Mausoleum) in Shiyan.
Yin Jifu, the Xi surname, whose name is Jia, was born in Fangling of the Western Zhou Dynasty. He was the king of the State of Yin after the Yellow Emperor and named Ji Fu, so he was called Yin Jifu. Yin Jifu was the Grand Master of the Zhou Dynasty in King Xuan of Zhou Dynasty. He fought in Pingyao, Shanxi Province, Cangzhou, Hebei Province and other places to pacify the chaos. After the war, he had a good opportunity in the court. No one could make the country prosperous and stable. At that time, King Xuan of Zhou praised him and said, "Wen and Wu are auspicious, and the world is the constitution."
Apart from court affairs, Yin Jifu has more than just the ability to govern the country. As a Grand Shifu, he lived in the tomb of the manor house and collected poems. There are still many legends and cultural relics about Yin Jifu in Fang County, such as the reason why Yin Jifu's son Boqi wrote the zither song "Walking Frost", the "Qingfeng Baotang Temple" built for the worship of Yin Jifu, and the folk legend about Yin Jifu's burial place, the Twelve Days Official Tomb. All kinds of legends related to Yin Jifu have been handed down from generation to generation, and echo with the surrounding ruins. The discovery of Yin Jifu's burial place on Qingfeng Mountain in Fang County makes these legends vivid.

The Book of Songs compiled by Yin Jifu has also been sung in Fangxian County so far. A large number of farmers in eight villages and towns around the county can use different tunes to sing many contents of the Book of Songs, such as "Guan Ju" and "Cutting sandalwood". Such a subtle inheritance phenomenon has also caused a sensation in China.
A glimpse of the whole leopard can be seen. The story of Yin Jifu and the Book of Songs is a microcosm of ancient Shiyan and its surrounding areas as one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. The history of Fangxian County, which is almost synchronized with the history of Chinese civilization, has a profound impact on Chinese civilization.
The spirit of "loyalty" advocated by all dynasties also began with the saying, "Wen Wu Ji Fu, the world is the constitution." Up to the Ming Dynasty, a magistrate of Fang Zhou still said to Yin Ji Fu's burial place on Qingfeng Mountain, "The hometown of loyalty and filial piety". There was also a stone carving of "loyalty and filial piety, a famous state" on the east gate of Fangxian County, Shiyan.
Today, Yin Jifu's significance in Shiyan is far more than "loyalty". We believe that the cultural heritage of this Chinese poet will be widely spread with the promotion of Fangling culture.
