Honors of Shiyan
In July 2016, Shiyan City won the title of National Model City (County) for Double Support in 2016.
In November 2017, Shiyan won the title of "Beautiful Landscape City" in 2017.
In November 2019, the Ministry of Ecological Environment awarded Shiyan the title of the second batch of national ecological civilization construction demonstration cities and counties.
In October 2020, Shiyan City won the title of National Model City (County) for Double Support in 2020.
In November 2020, Shiyan was awarded the 6th National Civilized City.
In December 2020, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development named Shiyan as a national barrier free environment demonstration county and town.
In March 2021, Shiyan ranked 162nd in the list of China's urban comprehensive strength in 2021.
In April 2021, Shiyan was selected as one of the first top 100 cities of Chinese culture in 2021.
In January 2022, during the National Patriotic Health Campaign, the Committee reconfirmed Shiyan as a national health city (district) in 2021.
On September 22, 2022, Shiyan won the title of National Civilized City again.
